Wikipedia describes Vampires as legendary creatures said to subsist by feeding on the life essence of living creatures, generally by drinking their blood. Although typically described as undead, some minor traditions believed in vampires that were living people.
Vampires on TV...
My first thoughts of Vampires on TV are The Adams Family (with that theme song that sticks in your brain) and The Munsters. They set the bar for the great shows that were to follow. Here are some big ones...
1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (March 10, 1997 until May 20, 2003)
2. Angel (October 5, 1999 – May 19, 2004)
3. Moonlight (September 28, 2007 – May 16, 2008)
4. True Blood (September 7, 2008 – present) WOOT, WOOT
5. The Vampire Diaries (September 10, 2009 – present) WOOT, WOOT
Vampires on The BIG Screen...
