Kidz Korner (6)

This is a special post to help you share a special book with the little ones in your life. Some of these books would make great holiday gifts! They will be reviewed by myself and my two sweeties (5 and 2). Children's books can be expensive, so we will give you some ideas of books that are worth your money.

One Snowy Night by M. Christina Butler
Age Range: 8-12

Jewel-like colors, animals with unmistakable character, and a flocked woolly hat on every page enhance this tender story about a little hedgehog who is caught unprepared by a chilly winter wind.

My thoughts...First this book is ranged 8-12.  While the words may be a bit difficult for emerging readers, several of the pictures are textured so it would appeal to younger readers as well.  This fuzzy red hat is passed on from furry friend to furry friend until the delightful end.  There is a great theme conveyed in the adorable pictures and colorful text.  This would be a great holiday read for a variety of ages.

Justin's Two Cents (my son always has his say)...I like feeling the fuzzy hat.

The story summary is from Barnes and Noble
