Sequel Saturday (10)

I recently started thinking about all the great sequels that are coming out.

Are they forgotten? Are they pushed down our wish lists for new, shiny debuts? Sequel Saturday is a special post to celebrate these exciting titles.

Insurgent (Divergent #2)

One choice can transform you—or it can destroy you. But every choice has consequences, and as unrest surges in the factions all around her, Tris Prior must continue trying to save those she loves—and herself—while grappling with haunting questions of grief and forgiveness, identity and loyalty, politics and love.

Tris's initiation day should have been marked by celebration and victory with her chosen faction; instead, the day ended with unspeakable horrors. War now looms as conflict between the factions and their ideologies grows. And in times of war, sides must be chosen, secrets will emerge, and choices will become even more irrevocable—and even more powerful. Transformed by her own decisions but also by haunting grief and guilt, radical new discoveries, and shifting relationships, Tris must fully embrace her Divergence, even if she does not know what she may lose by doing so.

New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth's much-anticipated second book of the dystopian Divergent series is another intoxicating thrill ride of a story, rich with hallmark twists, heartbreaks, romance, and powerful insights about human nature.(goodreads)

I LOVED Divergent. This was one of my most recommended, most enjoyed books of 2011. I will stand in line for Insurgent to get my hands on it. I am sure it will be amazing!

**If you are an author and your sequel needs some LOVE, email me and I will be glad to feature you.

Happy Reading!

I have three sequels on pre-order from Amazon to arrive this month. I am getting Beautiful Evil by Kelly Keaton which follows Darkness Becomes Her, Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver which follows Delirium, and Fever by Lauren DeStefano which follows Wither.

I have Divergent on my TBR stack but haven't had a chance to read it yet. I have heard from so many people that it is amazing that I am almost afraid to start it for fear of being disappointed.

Happy reading!

I am a serial reader. So I am with you, I can not wait to read Insurgent!~! I agree with Kathy with her choices. :) Fun post
